At Lubricantes de América S.A. de C.V., we provide an analytical support, quality control, and R&D approach to the field of lubricants in most of its sectors (automotive, hydraulics, gears, transmissions, dielectrics, etc.); as well as grease lubricants, antifreeze agents, and additives designed for the automotive industry. This allows us to monitor the quality of our products, for the purpose of achieving our customers’ satisfaction

ANTON PAAR AUTOMATIC VISCOMETER-DENSIMETER
To analyze kinematic viscosity at 100°C and 40°C, calculate the viscosity index, and analyze Density in compliance with the ASTM D7042, ASTM D2270, and ASTM D4052 methods.
PERKIN ELMER INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY INSTRUMENT
Used in field tests and/or working fleets to follow up on the qualitative properties of the product.
PERKIN ELMER ICP PLASMA SPECTROMETER
ASTM D5185. Completely automated equipment designed to detect additive and deterioration metals in new and used oils.
METROHM AUTOMATIC TITRATOR
Used to determine the total base number (TBN) in new and operating oils in compliance with standard ASTM D2896.
CANNON COLD-CRANKING SIMULATOR
Used to assess and measure viscosity in multigrade oils (0W, 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W y 25W) at low temperatures. ASTM D5293.
OXIDATION STABILITY
These two types of equipment are designed specifically to determine loss in resistance to oxidation by employing two methods: ASTM D2272 and ASTM D943, developed for oil oxidation tests in long-lasting products, such as turbine or hydraulic oils
